“Wildhorses” — A Song for the Fighters

After years on the road, years of highs and lows, and more than two decades chasing this dream through every smoky bar, festival stage, backroad venue, and long night in Nashville… my new single “Wildhorses” is finally here.

And this song is personal.

Faith Jackson wrote “Wildhorses” for every person out there who refuses to quit — no matter how hard life kicks, no matter how many doors close, no matter how many people tell them they should’ve given up a long time ago.

Because some of us were never built to stay fenced in.

This song is about survival. It’s about scars. It’s about grit. It’s about carrying your pain and your passion at the same time and still finding the strength to keep moving forward.

For me, “Wildhorses” represents 24 years in the music industry fighting to stay true to who I am. It represents every mile traveled, every stage played, every setback turned into fuel, and every moment I chose to keep believing even when the odds said otherwise.

There were times it would’ve been easier to quit.

But fighters don’t quit. Wild horses don’t break.

That’s the heartbeat behind this record.

Musically, “Wildhorses” blends outlaw country soul, country rock energy, and a raw emotional edge that reflects my journey and the journey of so many people out there still fighting for their dreams, their families, their freedom, and their purpose.

This song belongs to the underdogs. The rebels. The survivors. The ones still standing.

If you’ve ever had to fight your way through life while holding onto hope with both hands, then this song was written for you.

And if you’re still out there running wild, refusing to surrender…then welcome to the herd.
